What kinds of car wheels can be divided into according to the material division?
According to the different materials of automobile wheels, they can be divided into the following categories:
1. Steel wheel hub:
Features: The manufacturing process is simple, the cost is relatively low, and the ability to resist metal fatigue is strong.
Application: It is generally used for large trucks, and some economic cars and low-configuration models are used.
2. Iron wheel hub:
Features: cheap price, good patience, more robust, not easy to crack. But the weight is heavy, not beautiful enough.
Application: Minivans and some compact models of low configuration models are used more.
3.Alloy wheels:
Features: light weight, low inertia resistance, high production accuracy, small deformation during high-speed rotation, which is conducive to improving the linear driving performance of the car, reducing the rolling resistance of the tire, thereby reducing fuel consumption. At the same time, the appearance is more beautiful.
Application: At present, 80% of the supporting wheels on the market are alloy wheels. Minivans and some compact models are used more.
4.Carbon fiber wheel hub:
Features: very light, only about one-fifth of the weight of the normal hub, but the manufacturing cost and difficulty are high.
Application: Only a few high-end models are currently used.
